In a stunt as much fun as his on-screen escapades, Akshay Kumar surprised fans by wearing the now-famous "killer mask" from Housefull 5 and going incognito outside a Mumbai cinema to capture raw, unfiltered reactions from audiences. Bollywood's global superstar, going incognito in Bandra, asked cinemagoers about his new comedy caper—most blissfully none the wiser that they were talking to the film's lead actor.

The video, posted by Akshay on Instagram, became viral overnight. The fans and celebrities too, such as Tiger Shroff, filled the comments section with laughter and appreciation, thanking Akshay for his mischievous image. "Bas yun hi I decided to wear the killer mask and interview people leaving the Housefull 5 show at Bandra today. Pakda jaane wala thaa end mein but bhaag gaya us se pehle. Mast experience," posted Akshay, capturing the moment.

Key Highlights:

Undercover Antics: Akshay Kumar went undercover in a "killer mask" and mixed with the crowd outside a Bandra theatre, seeking genuine reviews for Housefull 5. The majority of the fans didn't recognize him, freely displaying their eagerness and positive responses.

Audience Reaction: The audience labeled the film as "sexy," "fun," and "thoroughly entertaining" with the majority praising Akshay's performance and the dance numbers in the film.

Box Office Blitz: Housefull 5 set records, collecting ₹24 crore on Day 1 and nearly ₹30 crore on Day 2, totaling ₹54–55 crore in two days. It is Akshay's fourth-biggest opener to date and the costliest Indian comedy movie produced, with a budget of ₹225 crore.

Innovative Spin: The movie has two different endings (Housefull 5A and 5B), providing the franchise with a new spin and holding the audience in suspense with the murder mystery spin.

Star-Studded Cast: In addition to Akshay, the movie features Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Sonam Bajwa, Sanjay Dutt, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, and many more.

Widest Release: Having more than 5,000 screens across the nation, Housefull 5 has the widest release for a comedy film in Bollywood.

Akshay's secret agent adventure has done little to diminish the hype for Housefull 5, which continues to pull in full houses and rave reviews. The runaway hit of the film is a red-letter return to comedy for the superstar and a new benchmark for Bollywood entertainers.
