Container Corporation of India Ltd (CONCOR), a pioneer PSU in multimodal logistics, inaugurated its first rake of special tank containers for bulk handling of cement, ushering in an era of cement logistics in India. The first trip was flagged off from Maha Cement's facility at Mellacheruvu, Andhra Pradesh, to ICD Whitefield, Bengaluru, ushering in an era of cost-saving, green, and loss-minimized cement logistics.
