Credai and Adani Cement Team Up for Greener, Smarter Real Estate

Credai has joined forces with Adani Cement to push for more sustainable construction and better workforce training in India’s real estate sector. This partnership, announced at Credai’s Governing Council meeting, is set to improve building practices while ensuring workers have the skills needed for modern developments.

  • Preferred Partnership: Credai will work closely with Adani Cement to promote ecofriendly materials across projects.
  • Green Initiative: A major afforestation project covering 9,000 acres in Nashik will kick off, aiming to plant one million trees.
  • Skill Development: Over 15,000 workers across 25 cities will receive specialized training to support industry growth.
  • Better Building Materials: Adani Cement will provide certified green concrete and technical expertise to developers.
Shekhar Patel, President of Credai, emphasized that this collaboration is about making the industry more futureready. With over 13,000 developers under Credai’s umbrella, the push for sustainability and skillbuilding could have a lasting impact on India's construction standards.
