The CTET application correction window for the February 2026 exam is open for a limited period, allowing registered candidates to fix errors in their forms. Corrections can be made only online on ctet.nic.in, and only in specified fields. Missing the deadline means appearing with incorrect details or, in some cases, application rejection.
Correction Window Closing Soon
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has activated the CTET February 2026 application correction facility for candidates who completed their registration and fee payment within the stipulated dates. The window is available only for a short duration in late December, after which no further edits will be accepted under any circumstances.
Through this facility, applicants can log in using their application number and password and rectify select particulars such as name, category, paper choice and exam city, depending on the official notification. Candidates are strongly advised to crosscheck every entry against their supporting documents before finally submitting the corrected form, as details will be used for admit card and result processing.
Key Points To Note
Correction window is live for a few days in the December 23–26, 2025 band; exact dates should be confirmed on ctet.nic.in. Changes beyond this period are not permitted via email, post or any offline mode.
Only limited fields are editable; information like mobile number or email may remain locked as per CBSE instructions, so candidates must read the correction guidelines carefully on the official portal before proceeding.
After submitting changes, candidates should download and safely store the revised confirmation page, which may be required for future reference, grievance redressal or document verification stages with recruiting bodies.
With the CTET exam scheduled for February 8, 2026, this is the final opportunity to ensure that names, categories, subjects and exam city preferences reflect the candidates’ actual eligibility and convenience.
