Cyient, a global engineering and technology solutions company, has expanded its strategic partnership with Deutsche Aircraft to include the detailed design for manufacturing (DFM) of the rear fuselage section of the D328eco, a 40-seater regional turboprop aircraft.
This collaboration builds upon their existing relationship, where Cyient has been providing technical publication services for the D328eco program. The D328eco is an upgraded version of the Dornier 328 series, designed to operate along regional routes with enhanced fuel efficiency and increased passenger capacity, necessitating specific structural updates.
Karthikeyan Natarajan, Executive Director and CEO of Cyient, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating that it underscores Cyient's commitment to delivering innovative engineering solutions in the aerospace sector. Dave Jackson, CEO of Deutsche Aircraft, highlighted Cyient's vast experience in the aerospace and defense industry as a key factor in their collaboration.
This partnership aims to revolutionize regional air travel by developing the D328eco with advanced features, unmatched versatility, and operational flexibility, connecting regions and people in the most challenging environments.
