In a significant addition to its bouquet of digital infrastructure solutions, Dynacons Systems and Solutions Ltd has secured a large-value order from the State Bank of India (SBI) to implement Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) solutions across its extensive branch network. The decision is aligned to SBI's strategic focus to enhance its connectivity architecture and operational efficiency.

Main Points of the Agreement

The transaction is valued at ₹629.8 million, which is one of the biggest SD-WAN deals for Dynacons.

The rollout will extend to thousands of SBI branches with the objective of streamlining network management and maximizing bandwidth utilization.

End-to-end deployment, i.e., hardware provisioning, configuration, and upkeep, will be managed by Dynacons.

Strategic Implications

SD-WAN technology facilitates centralized control of traffic across the network, reducing dependency on traditional MPLS lines and lowering operational costs.

SBI's deployment of SD-WAN should improve data access in real-time, support cybersecurity initiatives, and enable cloud-based applications better.

The project is part of the bank's overall digital transformation strategy, also involving AI-driven customer service, mobile banking growth, and cloud migration.

Dynacons' Positioning

This victory further solidifies Dynacons as a desired IT infrastructure partner among big companies and government institutions.

It also references increasing demand for SD-WAN solutions in India's financial sector, where scalability and agility are fast becoming a necessity.
