Pune-based EKA Mobility is ramping up production to 10,000 e-buses by FY27, aided by a ₹1,000 crore investment from Mitsui and VDL Groep. The company is building three plants, one of which is at Pithampur, to triple annual capacity to 17,500 units (buses + e-SCVs) by 2025-end.
