As the earnings season heats up, all eyes are on four major players-BHEL, Hyundai Motor India, Delhivery, and Emami-scheduled to announce their Q4 and FY25 results today, May 16. Here’s what to watch for:

Key Highlights

BHEL:
Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. will unveil its Q4 and full-year results, with the board also considering a final dividend for FY25. The trading window remains closed for insiders until 48 hours post-results. BHEL shares have shown resilience recently, rallying over 11% in the past week, though they’re still down nearly 18% over the past year. The company’s Q3 net profit more than doubled, signaling positive momentum into Q4, and investors are keenly awaiting dividend news and growth outlooks.

Hyundai Motor India:
The automaker is expected to report a 21% year-on-year drop in net profit to ₹1,332 crore and a 1.8% decline in revenue to ₹17,349 crore, as domestic sales slow and competition intensifies. While exports rose 16% in Q4, domestic sales dipped 4%. Margins are under pressure due to subdued sales and heavy EV investments. Hyundai shares have underperformed since their October 2024 debut, lagging sector indices despite a recent rebound.

Delhivery:
The logistics giant will release its Q4 and FY25 results, with an investor call scheduled for 6 p.m. today. While no dividend announcement is expected, Delhivery’s performance will be closely watched for signals on logistics demand and operational efficiency. The trading window is closed for designated persons until May 18.

Emami:
The FMCG major is projected to post a 10% year-on-year drop in revenue to ₹944 crore and a 34% fall in EBITDA to ₹222 crore, as higher promotional and employee costs bite. Margins are expected to contract, but net profit could rise sharply to ₹628 crore, driven by non-operational gains. Analysts expect stable but subdued results, with volume growth in the summer portfolio under scrutiny.

Outlook:
Investors and analysts will be parsing these results for cues on sector trends, margin pressures, and management commentary as India Inc. navigates a challenging macro environment.
