Isha Ambani turned heads at London’s Pink Ball 2025 in a handcrafted couture ensemble that took 3,670 hours to create. Styled with heirloom emerald jewels from her mother Nita Ambani, the look celebrated Indian artistry and luxury. The event spotlighted fashion, heritage, and cultural diplomacy.
A couture masterpiece meets heirloom glamour
At the British Museum’s inaugural Pink Ball on October 18, Isha Ambani made a dazzling entrance in a blush pink zardozi outfit by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. The handcrafted jacket and column skirt took an astonishing 3,670 hours to complete, involving over 35 artisans. The ensemble was inspired by the theme “Colours and Light of India,” aligning with the museum’s concurrent exhibition on Indian traditions.
Adding to the grandeur, Isha adorned herself with massive emerald jewels from her mother Nita Ambani’s collection. The heirloom pieces included a statement necklace and drop earrings, which added a regal touch to the already opulent look. The combination of couture and heritage jewellery created a visual tribute to India’s rich design legacy.
A celebration of Indian culture in London
The Pink Ball, co-chaired by Isha Ambani and British Museum director Dr. Nicholas Cullinan OBE, was more than a fashion event—it was a cultural showcase. The evening featured Indian textiles, music, and art, with guests from the worlds of fashion, philanthropy, and diplomacy.
Nita Ambani also made a striking appearance in a sunset-hued Kanjeevaram saree with a real silver pallu, designed by Manish Malhotra and woven by R Varadhan for Swadesh. Her look blended traditional craftsmanship with modern elegance, reinforcing the event’s theme of heritage revival.
