Eternal’s Recipe for Success: Aditya Mangla Steps In as New Food Delivery CEO

Parent firm Zomato, which has changed its name to Eternal Limited, on July 6, 2025, announced the induction of Aditya Mangla as the new chief executive officer of its food ordering and delivery business. The board-approved induction is a significant leadership shift with Mangla replacing Rakesh Ranjan, who had completed his two-year term. Ranjan will continue to be with the firm in a different role.

Mangla, who joined Eternal in March 2021, has served in senior roles like Head of Product, Head of Supply, and Head of Customer Experience in the food delivery space. Mangla's contributions have been instrumental in restaurant partner ecosystem optimization and customer engagement in digital ecosystems at Eternal. Mangla has served in senior roles in product, marketing, and P&L in a sequence of startups and tech-led companies. Mangla has earned advanced degrees from the Carnegie Mellon University and the Indian School of Business.

Eternal's topline grew 64% y-o-y in Q4 FY25 to ₹5,833 crore, with a bottom line of ₹39 crore.
Mangla's appointment is a reflection of Eternal's dedication to agile, people-focused leadership as the company enters its next growth stage.
