In a landmark showcase of sustainability and innovation, the R|Elan™ Circular Design Challenge (RCDC) 2025 returned to Lakmé Fashion Week x FDCI, positioning India as a global leader in circular fashion. The challenge, jointly spearheaded by Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) and the United Nations in India, is the country’s largest sustainability award in fashion and continues to redefine how the industry approaches eco-conscious design.
This year’s edition drew over 160 applications from 10 countries, reflecting a growing international appetite for regenerative fashion practices. Powered by R|Elan™—RIL’s next-gen sustainable fabric brand—the initiative aligns with Reliance’s long-term goal of achieving net carbon neutrality by 2044.
