Filatex India Ltd has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Texfil Private Limited, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indeca Sporting Goods Pvt. The partnership will leverage Texfil’s proprietary chemical recycling process, Ecosis™, which preserves polyester quality while enabling large-scale recycling. Decathlon will conduct structured trials of Ecosis™ recycled polyester chips and yarn with its manufacturing partners in India. With Texfil already operating a pilot plant of 800 kg/day and a commercial facility of 26,750 MTPA expected by September 2026, the collaboration is poised to accelerate adoption of eco-friendly materials in global sportswear.
