Fine Organics Expands to U.S. with New Sustainable Additives Facility

Fine Organic Industries Ltd has acquired land in Jonesville, Union County, South Carolina, for its first manufacturing plant in the United States. The facility at 1907 Spartanburg Highway will begin operations by 2027 and create 60 new jobs.
 
Project Details and Scope
  • The plant will produce biobased specialty additives used in food, plastics, animal nutrition, inks, and personal care products.
  • This expansion strengthens Fine Organics’ presence across the Americas and enhances supply chain reliability.
Strategic & Financial Backing
  • The Coordinating Council for Economic Development has approved job development credits.
  • Union County received an $850,000 Rural Infrastructure Fund grant to support site development.
  • Leadership Outlook
  • Chairman Mukesh Shah called the move a strategic milestone aligning with the company’s sustainable growth vision and proximity to key markets.
Fine Organics already operates facilities in India, Thailand, and Malaysia with global offices in the U.S. and Europe.
