The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has reduced premium coach fares on Namo Bharat trains to make them affordable for commuters. The revised fare reduces the premium fare to 1.2 times the basic coach fare, which means the ₹100 basic ticket can now be upgraded at an additional ₹20.

The passengers traveling between New Ashok Nagar and Meerut South will now have to pay ₹180 for premium class, up from ₹150 for regular fares. Similarly, a journey between Ghaziabad and Anand Vihar will now cost ₹50 in premium class, up from ₹40 in regular class. The move is to boost ridership through a less packed and more comfortable mode of travel.

In order to further motivate commuters, NCRTC has launched a loyalty points programme. Passengers receive points while booking QR tickets using the Namo Bharat app or through the National Common Mobility Card (NCMC). 10 paise is earned for each point and with 300 points, a free trip can be obtained.

Also, NCRTC has enhanced parking facilities at all the Namo Bharat stations, allowing passengers to view real-time parking status on the Namo Bharat Connect app. The initiative is particularly helpful for working professionals and students, as they require a convenient environment for work or study during travel.
