Who Is Mithun Manhas?
Born in Jammu, Manhas played domestic cricket from 1997 to 2017, scoring 9714 runs in 157 first-class matches
He also featured in 130 List A games and 91 T20s, including stints with IPL teams like Delhi Daredevils, Pune Warriors, and Chennai Super Kings
Post-retirement, he served as a coach and batting consultant for Bangladesh U-19 and IPL franchises including Punjab Kings and Gujarat Titans
He was part of the BCCI-appointed sub-committee managing Jammu & Kashmir cricket affairs
Manhas becomes only the third cricketer after Sourav Ganguly and Roger Binny to lead the BCCI, bringing grassroots experience and a player-first perspective to the role.
