Dhanush's much-awaited film "Kuberaa" takes off to a flying start at the box office, registering a good growth in collections on the second day. Following a good opening, the Sekhar Kammula-directed film went from strength to strength, topping recent releases and creating new records for the star.

Key Highlights:

•  ”Kuberaa" raked about ₹14.91 crore net in India on Saturday (Day 2) to reach a total of ₹29.66 crore in two days.

•  Telugu version of the film is also doing very well, with more than 60% occupancy on Saturday, and the Tamil version also contributed.

•  The pan-India success of the film has been aided by its star-studded cast featuring Nagarjuna Akkineni, Rashmika Mandanna, Jim Sarbh, and has been praised for its gripping story, tight direction, and powerful performances.

•  “Kuberaa" has now replaced Suriya's "Retro" in two-day collections and is going to be one of Dhanush's highest grossers.

•  Industry analysts expect Sunday's (Day 3) box office to increase further, buoyed by positive word-of-mouth and strong critical reception.

Prognosis: With nearly ₹30 crore in two days and the trend gathering speed, "Kuberaa" is on its way to a blockbuster weekend. If the trend is maintained, the film can become new record-breaker for Dhanush and an even bigger 2025 box office blockbuster.
