Future Tech: Beijing Schools Introduce AI Courses for Young Minds

Beijing schools will introduce artificial intelligence courses for primary and secondary students starting September 1. The initiative aims to strengthen China's position in the AI sector. At least eight hours of AI classes will be offered annually, either as standalone courses or integrated into existing subjects like IT and science. This move aligns with China's ambition to lead in AI innovation, following recent advancements by startups like DeepSeek. The program is part of broader efforts to enhance digital literacy and support large-scale AI applications.
