GAIL (India) Limited has secured a crucial approval from the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) to supercharge its Dahej-Uran-Dabhol-Panvel (DUPL-DPPL) natural gas pipeline network. The regulator has authorized a significant capacity augmentation from the existing 19.9 MMSCMD to an impressive 22.5 MMSCMD.
This three-year authorization marks a pivotal moment for GAIL, India's largest natural gas transmission company. The capacity boost is expected to enhance GAIL's ability to meet growing energy demands and strengthen its position in the market.
The DUPL-DPPL network, a key component of GAIL's extensive 11,400 km pipeline infrastructure, plays a crucial role in connecting gas sources to various customers across the country. This approval aligns with GAIL's strategic focus on business growth and its commitment to expanding India's natural gas infrastructure.
Industry experts anticipate this development will significantly impact GAIL's operational capabilities and market share in the coming years.
