India’s second-richest person, Gautam Adani, received a total remuneration of ₹10.41 crore in FY25, significantly lower than many of his industry peers and top executives within the Adani Group. The billionaire drew his salary from only two of his 10 listed companies, namely Adani Enterprises Ltd (AEL) and Adani Ports & SEZ Ltd (APSEZ).
Adani’s FY25 compensation included:
₹2.46 crore from Adani Enterprises, comprising ₹2.19 crore in salary and ₹27 lakh in allowances.
₹6.8 crore from Adani Ports & SEZ, including ₹1.8 crore salary and ₹5 crore commission, payable in FY26.
Despite his ₹10.41 crore package, Adani’s pay remains lower than telecom tycoon Sunil Bharti Mittal (₹16.7 crore), Rajiv Bajaj (₹53.7 crore), and Pawan Munjal (₹80 crore). His younger brother Rajesh Adani earned ₹8.37 crore, while key executive Vinay Prakash received a staggering ₹89.37 crore.
