The news, announced on June 8 by Diljit's producer Ali Abbas Zafar and ZEE5, was preceded by a colorful new poster of Diljit sporting a suave dark green turban and the popular tagline, "Sherdil Aa Gaya Oye," causing immediate excitement among the audience.
