The 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) will be held in Goa from November 20 to 28, 2025. Featuring over 240 films from 81 countries, the festival will showcase global cinema, Indian Panorama entries, cultural performances, and tributes, cementing its status as South Asia’s premier film event.
Celebrating cinematic excellence in Goa
Panaji is set to host the 56th edition of IFFI, South Asia’s only FIAPF‑accredited competitive film festival. The nine‑day event will open with the Brazilian film The Blue Trail and welcome more than 7,500 delegates. Actor Rajinikanth will be honoured, while the lineup includes 50 films by women directors, 21 Oscar entries, and 50 debut works. The Indian Panorama section will highlight 50 films, including Malayalam titles Thudaram and ARM. Alongside screenings, cultural showcases such as Telangana’s Gussadi tribal dance and the expanded Film Bazaar will enrich the festival experience.
