Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has declared a noteworthy rise in its operational renewable energy generation capacity, which is now 13,700.3 MW. The achievement comes with the commissioning of a new 212.50 MW solar power project at Khavda, Gujarat, as part of AGEL's large-scale endeavor to augment its renewable portfolio. The company has been able to operationalize 396.7 MW of capacities in recent endeavors, such as solar and wind capacities, to further entrench itself in the renewable energy segment.
The recently commissioned development features inputs from subsidiaries Adani Renewable Energy Fifty Six Limited and Adani Green Energy Twenty Four A Limited, adding 200 MW and 87.5 MW respectively. Also, a wind development of 109.2 MW was commissioned by Adani Renewable Energy Forty One Limited.
AGEL's aggressive goals envision a total capacity of 50 GW by 2030, in keeping with India's vision for green energy and minimizing carbon emissions.
