The Hong Kong Trade 

Development Council (HKTDC) revealed the 10 successful finalists of its very popular 8th Start-up Express, showcasing the city's future stars in health tech, artificial intelligence, and green tech. Selected from over 200 applicants, the winners are a testament to the vibrancy of Hong Kong's start-up spirit and the city's rising reputation as an international innovation hub.

- Record Attendance: More than 200 start-ups participated, and 10 were declared winners after a tough Final Pitching Day where 200+ entrepreneurs, industry experts, and investors attended.

- Sectoral Diversity: From health technology to AI, green tech to smart city solutions, winners reflect the dynamism of Hong Kong's innovation economy.

 

Special Honors:

- Green Vigor Limited was awarded the ESG Award for best sustainability practices.

- AniTech Limited took home "My Favourite Start-up" from the event attendees.

What's Next?

Start-up Express International returns for its fourth edition in December, inviting early-stage start-ups from across the world to leverage Hong Kong's start-up ecosystem and find opportunities in Mainland China and the Greater Bay Area.

 

"Start-up Express is the springboard for Hong Kong's brightest tech start-ups," said HKTDT Director Iris Wong, citing the programme's success in propelling 70+ start-ups onto the international global stage since 2018.
