Greenpanel Industries Limited reported its financial results for the March 2025 quarter, showcasing steady operational performance amid challenging market conditions. The company recorded revenue from operations of ₹3.75 billion, while net profit (PAT) for the quarter stood at ₹293.9 million. Despite a year-on-year decline in profitability, Greenpanel’s topline resilience and ongoing expansion efforts signal cautious optimism for the future.

Key Highlights:

Revenue from operations for the March quarter was ₹3.75 billion, reflecting a modest sequential growth of 4.38% compared to the previous quarter, even as the industry faces sluggish demand and elevated timber prices.

Net profit after tax came in at ₹293.9 million, down from ₹689.3 million in the same period last year, as margin pressures and higher input costs weighed on the bottom line.

EBITDA for the quarter registered at ₹586.9 million, slightly lower than the previous quarter, indicating ongoing cost headwinds.

The company recently commenced commercial production at its MDF plant in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, a move expected to enhance capacity and improve operational efficiencies in the coming quarters.

Despite the short-term pressure, analysts remain optimistic about Greenpanel’s medium-term prospects, citing upcoming capacity expansions and the potential for margin recovery by FY27.

Management changes were also noted during the quarter, with the resignation of Chief Sales Officer Sunil Singh, signaling a phase of leadership transition.

Greenpanel Industries’ Q4 results highlight its resilience in a tough market, with strategic investments and capacity growth positioning the company for a stronger rebound as demand improves.
