The Admission Committee for Professional Postgraduate Medical Courses in Gujarat has announced a revised merit list following the drastic reduction of NEET-PG cut-off scores. With this decision, candidates who previously scored very low including zero or even negative marks are now eligible for state quota admissions.
This change has significantly widened the pool of applicants, raising the total number of candidates in Gujarat’s merit list to 5,394. Officials confirmed that the third round of state quota counselling will commence after the completion of the All India Quota admissions on February 12, 2026.
