In a landmark collaboration, the Institute of Pesticide Formulation Technology (IPFT), Gurugram, and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to launch a Joint PhD Programme focused on agrochemical formulation sciences and allied areas.
The programme, supported by six sponsored PhD fellowships, is designed to foster advanced research, innovation, and translational studies that bridge laboratory findings with real-world agricultural applications. Established in 1991, IPFT has been at the forefront of developing safer and more efficient pesticide formulations, and this partnership with IIT Delhi marks a significant step toward strengthening India’s research ecosystem.
