Happiest Minds Welcomes Anand Balakrishnan as New CFO

Happiest Minds Technologies has appointed Anand Balakrishnan as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective immediately. Balakrishnan, who brings over 20 years of experience in financial management, accounting, and strategic leadership, will report directly to Managing Director Venkatraman Narayanan.

 

Balakrishnan has previously held senior roles at Marsh McLennan (formerly JLT), GE Healthcare, and Mindteck. During his tenure at Mindteck, he played a key role in improving financial discipline, guiding the company back to profitability and sustainable growth. His expertise in financial strategy and governance is expected to strengthen Happiest Minds’ financial processes.

 

Venkatraman Narayanan expressed confidence in Balakrishnan’s ability to drive innovation and deliver value to stakeholders, emphasizing his blend of financial acumen and strategic thinking. The appointment aligns with Happiest Minds’ vision for long-term growth, as the company continues to expand its presence in digital transformation services across industries like BFSI, EdTech, Healthcare, and Manufacturing.

 

Balakrishnan is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, and the American Institute of CPAs. His leadership is expected to enhance financial governance and support Happiest Minds’ expansion strategy in global markets.
