Pawan Kalyan's highly expected historical actioner Hari Hara Veera Mallu experienced a big drop in box office revenues on its second day, but it still has a decent total after two days.

Key Highlights of Day 2 Box Office Collection

On its second day (Friday, July 25, 2025), the film collected an estimated ₹7.77 to ₹8 crore net in India in all languages, a sharp fall from the blockbuster first day collection of approximately ₹34.75 crore net. This fall mirrors mixed to negative critiques from critics and viewers affecting footfalls.

Total 2-day India net collections have crossed ₹55 crore, inclusive of the paid previews of approximately ₹12.75 crore. The two-day gross collections are at around ₹60 crore.

Total occupancy on Day 2 stood at approximately 21.7% with night shows performing better (27.2%) than morning and afternoon shows (17.7% and 20.2%). Telugu-speaking areas witnessed occupancy between 18.96% to 21.71% on the second day.

The opening of the film is still the largest of Pawan Kalyan's career, beating his earlier successes such as Vakeel Saab. It also beat Ram Charan's Game Changer in opening day figures.

In spite of the decline, the film should enter the ₹50 crore net club shortly, but it needs to hold well over the weekend in the face of negative word of mouth.

Hari Hara Veera Mallu is a historical drama starring Pawan Kalyan against Aurangzeb, with its star cast comprising Nidhhi Agerwal, Bobby Deol, and Nargis Fakhri.

Krish Jagarlamudi directs and Mega Surya Productions produces the period drama cum action film with a rich visual appeal.

Summary and Outlook Though the opening day enthusiasm was good for Hari Hara Veera Mallu, the second day performance indicates tough days ahead in holding the interest of the audience, thanks to critical reviews pointing out the weaknesses of the film. The producers and distributors can take heart and look to the weekend to determine if the movie stabilizes and builds on the massive opening base.
