After losing its no. 2 carmaker position, Hyundai is placing a major bet on the second-generation Venue, launching November 4, 2025. The revamped Venue boasts a bold new design, a tech-forward premium cabin, and multiple engine options, aiming to recapture market share with bookings now open for ₹25,000.
Hyundai, facing recent shifts in the automotive hierarchy, has unveiled the much-anticipated all-new Venue to assert its dominance in the compact SUV segment. Scheduled for launch in India on November 4, 2025, the Venue has been redesigned with larger dimensions and advanced features, marking a strategic move to regain lost ground among competitors.
The new Venue is noticeably taller, wider, and longer than its predecessor, lending it a commanding road presence that aligns more with midsize SUVs while retaining the compact footprint. Exterior highlights include a dark chrome grille, distinctive quad-beam LED headlamps, LED daytime running lights, full-width LED tail lamps, and muscular wheel arches with diamond-cut alloy wheels. The SUV exudes an assertive, modern look that stands apart in a crowded segment.
Step inside the Venue, and the transformation continues with a premium, tech-rich cabin. It features a dual 12.3-inch curved panoramic display that seamlessly integrates the digital instrument cluster and infotainment system, providing a futuristic driving experience. Dual-tone navy and dove grey upholstery combined with ambient Moon White lighting and leather seats add comfort and a touch of luxury. Rear passengers benefit from reclining seats, rear AC vents, and sunshades, elevating overall ride quality.
Hyundai continues to offer choice and versatility under the hood with three engine options—1.2-litre petrol, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, and a 1.5-litre diesel—all paired with manual, automatic, or dual-clutch transmissions. The new Venue also introduces the HX variant series, aiming to enhance the buying experience with tailored feature sets.
Booking for the Venue opened recently with a token amount of ₹25,000. Price announcements and deliveries are expected around the launch date in early November, with costs estimated between ₹8 lakh to ₹14 lakh (ex-showroom) depending on variant and powertrain.
With aggressive styling, premium amenities, and broad powertrain options, Hyundai’s Venue aims to reclaim its foothold as a leader in India’s competitive compact SUV market, post its recent ranking setback in the carmaker standings.
