The order was confirmed in the third quarter of 2025 and is scheduled for delivery in early 2027. These RTGs will be deployed at a greenfield terminal, supporting efficient container handling while aligning with India’s push for greener logistics infrastructure. Konecranes’ E-Hybrid system allows the cranes to operate on battery power charged via grid electricity, reducing reliance on diesel and cutting operational emissions.

This investment reflects the terminal’s commitment to modernizing its equipment while meeting global environmental standards. The RTGs will play a central role in yard operations, enhancing productivity and sustainability.
