IndiGo Expands Global and Domestic Network with 14 New Destinations in FY26

India’s largest airline, IndiGo, has announced a significant expansion plan for the financial year 2025-26, adding 10 new international and 4 domestic destinations to its growing network. The move strengthens IndiGo’s presence in key global markets while enhancing connectivity within India.
Key Highlights from IndiGo’s Expansion Strategy
IndiGo will introduce flights to Manchester, Amsterdam, London, Copenhagen, Siem Reap, Athens, and four destinations in Central Asia.
The airline’s domestic expansion includes Hindon, Adampur, Navi Mumbai, and Noida, increasing its total domestic destinations to 95.
With these additions, IndiGo’s international network will grow to 50 destinations, reinforcing its position as a leading carrier in India’s aviation sector.
Infrastructure Development and Fleet Growth
IndiGo has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Bangalore International Airport Ltd to establish a new Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul facility at Kempegowda International Airport.
The facility will span 31 acres and support IndiGo’s expanding fleet, which is expected to surpass 600 aircraft by 2030.
The airline currently operates MRO facilities in Delhi and Bengaluru, ensuring efficient maintenance and operational readiness.
Strategic Partnerships and Long-Haul Operations
IndiGo will commence long-haul operations with non-stop flights between Mumbai and Manchester, as well as Mumbai and Amsterdam, starting July 2025.
The airline will deploy Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft wet-leased from Norse Atlantic Airways for European routes.
IndiGo’s wet lease agreement with Turkish Airlines has been extended by three months, allowing continued operations on the Delhi–Istanbul and Mumbai–Istanbul routes.
