IndiGo, India's leading airline, has announced a significant expansion of its international operations. The carrier has signed an agreement with Norse Atlantic Airways to damp lease three additional Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, bringing the total to four wide-body aircraft from Norse. These planes are set to arrive in India in the second half of 2025, with an initial six-month lease that can be extended up to 18 months. This move aligns with IndiGo's vision to become a global player by 2030, strengthening its presence in the European market. CEO Pieter Elbers emphasized that this partnership will help establish the brand internationally and support the airline's broader strategy for international network expansion.
