IndiGo is introducing daily direct flights from Mumbai to Adampur (Jalandhar), Punjab, from July 2, 2025. The new route makes Adampur the IndiGo's 92nd domestic and 133rd destination overall, increasing connectivity between the industrial and agricultural hubs of Punjab and the financial capital of Mumbai.

1. Flight Schedule and Route Details
Flight 6E 5931 will depart from Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport at 12:55 PM, arriving in Adampur at 3:15 PM.
Return flight 6E 5932 will depart from Adampur at 3:50 PM, reaching Mumbai at 6:30 PM.
The route is expected to boost trade opportunities, providing easier access to Mumbai’s major ports for Punjab’s business and agricultural sectors.
2. Strategic Importance of the New Route
IndiGo's expansion is to enhance regional connectivity, serving business and leisure travelers alike.
Adampur, situated on the Jalandhar-Hoshiarpur Road, has one of India's oldest airbases, the Adampur Air Force Station.
The new link will boost tourism, with places to visit such as Rangla Punjab Haveli, Devi Talab Mandir, Pushpa Gujral Science City, and Wonderland Theme Park.
3. IndiGo's Increasing Domestic Network
The airline is continuing its domestic expansion with Adampur its 55th domestic and 77th destination from Mumbai.
IndiGo is set to add four more domestic points, raising its network from 91 to 95 destinations.
The airline is also getting ready to launch direct flights from Mumbai to Amsterdam and Manchester, its first long-haul routes.
