Injury Strikes Again: Neymar Out for Brazil's Crucial Qualifiers

The comeback of Neymar to the Brazilian national team has been postponed by a thigh injury, which has excluded him from the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Colombia and Argentina. He had been summoned after a virtual 1.5-year gap since suffering an ACL injury in October 2023. Endrick of Real Madrid will be his replacement. Brazil, ranking fifth in the South American qualifications, hosts Colombia on March 20 and then plays Argentina on March 25. Neymar was disappointed but stressed the requirement to recover properly from the injury.
