IRB Infra Trust Posts Steady Toll Growth in August, Reinforces Portfolio Resilience

IRB Infrastructure Trust has reported a 1 percent year-on-year increase in gross toll revenue for August 2025 across its portfolio of Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs), signaling operational stability amid seasonal and macroeconomic challenges. The trust, which manages some of India’s most critical toll road assets, continues to demonstrate consistent performance backed by long-term concession agreements and efficient traffic management.

The Golconda Expressway, one of the highest-grossing assets, continued to lead in toll collections, supported by robust freight movement.

 

IRB’s investment manager has focused on optimizing lane operations, enhancing toll automation, and maintaining high service uptime across its corridors. These efforts have ensured minimal disruptions and sustained user confidence.

 

Looking ahead, analysts expect stronger performance in Q3 FY26, driven by festive season travel, increased freight activity, and potential policy tailwinds in infrastructure financing. The trust’s consistent toll growth reinforces its appeal as a stable yield-generating platform in India’s transport infrastructure landscape.
