Jindal Mobilitric Unveils Electric Two-Wheeler with 165 km Range, Targets Mass EV Adoption

Jindal Mobilitric Pvt Ltd, the electric mobility arm of Jindal Worldwide Ltd, has officially launched its first electric twowheeler with a certified range of 165 km per charge. This marks a significant milestone in the company’s transition from textiles to clean mobility, positioning it as a serious contender in India’s fastgrowing EV market.
 
Key Highlights:
  • The newly unveiled electric scooter is designed for urban and semiurban commuters, offering a 165 km range on a single charge and a top speed of 75 km/h.
  • The vehicle is equipped with a lithiumion battery pack developed inhouse, featuring advanced thermal management and AIbased diagnostics.
  • Jindal Mobilitric has set up a stateoftheart EV manufacturing facility in Ahmedabad with an annual capacity of 2.5 lakh units.
  • A fully automated battery plant with matching capacity has also been established to ensure vertical integration and battery safety.
  • The company has already tested its prototypes over 7.7 lakh kilometers and plans to launch three models by the end of 2025.
