JSW Neo Energy, a subsidiary of JSW Energy, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire O2 Power’s 4.7 GW renewable energy platform for ₹12,468 crore ($1.47 billion). This acquisition will increase JSW's generation capacity by 23%, from 20.02 GW to 24.71 GW. O2 Power’s portfolio includes operational, under-construction, and pipeline projects across seven states, with full commissioning expected by June 2027. The deal is subject to approval from the Competition Commission of India (CCI) and other regulatory clearances.
