Jupiter Wagons Limited's subsidiary, Jupiter Tatravagonka Railwheel Factory, has secured a massive ₹2,550 crore order for forged wheelsets. This development comes as part of the company's ambitious ₹2,500 crore expansion plan announced in September 2024, aimed at increasing annual production capacity from 20,000 to 100,000 forged wheelsets by 2027. The new state-of-the-art facility in Odisha is set to cater to both domestic and international markets, with 50% of production slated for export. This strategic move aligns with the "Make in India" initiative and strengthens Jupiter Wagons' position in the global supply chain, potentially boosting its stock performance on the NSE and BSE.
