Jyoti CNC Automation Ltd has taken a strategic leap toward southern expansion by acquiring 20 acres of industrial land at the Tumakuru Machine Tool Park (TMTP) in Karnataka. The move is part of the company’s long-term vision to scale up manufacturing capacity and deepen its presence in India’s precision engineering corridor.
Key Highlights:
- Location Advantage: The land is located in Vasanthanarasapura Industrial Area, Phase III, within the TMTP—India’s first integrated machine tool cluster developed under the Chennai–Bengaluru Industrial Corridor (CBIC).
- Strategic Intent: Jyoti CNC plans to set up a state-of-the-art Machine Tool Centre, focusing on high-speed vertical machining centers, CNC turning solutions, and automation-integrated systems.
- Investment Commitment: The company has committed ₹285 crore to the project, which is expected to generate over 3,300 jobs, according to Karnataka’s State-Level Monitoring Committee (SLMC) approvals.
- TMTP Ecosystem: The 530-acre TMTP is a joint initiative of the Government of India and Government of Karnataka, offering plug-and-play infrastructure, common testing facilities, and proximity to the Japanese Industrial Township.
- Growth Catalyst: This expansion aligns with Jyoti CNC’s post-IPO roadmap and supports its ambition to become a global leader in precision manufacturing, catering to sectors like aerospace, defense, and EV components.
With this land acquisition, Jyoti CNC is not just buying real estate—it’s securing a launchpad for next-gen manufacturing in India’s emerging machine tool capital.
