Kernex Microsystems Secures ₹325-Crore Kavach Project: A Leap in Railway Safety

Kernex Microsystems (India) Ltd, a leading developer of railway safety systems, has reached a landmark by winning a ₹325.33 crore contract for the Kavach Train Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) of South Eastern Railway. The KERNEX-MRT consortium will execute the project, which comprises the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of Kavach in 688 Route Kilometers (RKM) of the Kharagpur and Chakradharpur divisions. The project period is fixed at 1,000 days.
