Khoobsurat Ltd’s Brewery Dream Nears Reality with 2026 Launch Target

Khoobsurat Ltd is brewing up a bold new chapter as its Goa-based brewery project edges closer to commercial production. The company has confirmed that trial runs and test batches will be completed by late 2025, following the installation and commissioning of state-of-the-art brewing machinery at its SA-22 & SA-23 Cuncolim Industrial Estate facility.

 

The ₹20 lakh non-refundable processing fee for the Establishment License has already been paid, and the file has been escalated to the Goa government’s finance department for final approval. Once granted, Khoobsurat will place orders for the brewhouse equipment, with a 10-month delivery and installation timeline. Post-installation, the company expects a two-month window for trial batches before full-scale operations begin.

 

The commercial rollout is targeted for March 2026, aligning with Khoobsurat’s broader diversification strategy. The project is being executed in collaboration with Salcete Brewing Ltd and includes infrastructure for bottling, packaging, and allied services. The company has also secured environmental and water-use clearances, including a borewell yielding 10,000 liters per day.

 

This venture marks a strategic pivot from Khoobsurat’s traditional finance and investment roots into the high-growth FMCG and beverage sector. With robust financials and zero promoter pledges, the company is positioning itself as a serious contender in India’s craft beer market.
