Kia Carens Clavis Fuel Efficiency Figures Unveiled Ahead of Launch

Kia India has officially revealed the fuel efficiency figures for its upcoming Carens Clavis MPV, set to launch on May 23, 2025. Positioned as an upgraded version of the Carens, the Clavis introduces refined styling, enhanced features, and a new manual transmission option for the turbo-petrol variant.  

 

Performance Insights:  

- The diesel manual variant leads with an impressive mileage of 19.54 kmpl, making it the most fuel-efficient option.  

- The diesel automatic follows closely, delivering 17.50 kmpl.  

- The turbo-petrol engine with a dual-clutch automatic transmission offers 16.66 kmpl, balancing performance and economy.  

- The naturally aspirated petrol variant provides a mileage of 15.34 kmpl, catering to everyday driving needs.  

- Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT, 6-speed automatic, and 7-speed DCT.  

 

Bookings for the Carens Clavis began on May 9, 2025, with the official price announcement scheduled for May 23. The MPV is expected to attract significant interest, given its improved design and expanded feature set.
