Kings Infra Ventures Ltd has finally signed an agreement to buy Sriaqua Seafoods, a top Visakhapatnam-based seafood exporting firm in Andhra Pradesh state. The acquisition effective from May 2, 2025, is a significant step in Kings Infra's growth strategy, particularly in the aqua-farming and seafood export segment.

Sriaqua Seafoods, which exports approximately 900 tonnes of seafood every year, will go on as usual under the new name Kings Infra. The expansion will increase Kings Infra's presence in Andhra Pradesh and enhance its end-to-end value chain in aquaculture from brood stock to global marketing and packaging.

The board of the company, led by Chairman and Managing Director Shaji Baby John, also has intentions of leveraging Sriaqua's expertise by appointing its managing partner, Sreeram Inagalla, as the CEO of a new international subsidiary in the UAE. The overseas subsidiary will be responsible for worldwide distribution as well as establishing new markets and products.

Apart from this, Kings Infra is acquiring the seafood processing plant of Kings International Limited at Tuticorin with the intention of refurbishing the plant and introducing the Kings Frigo brand for the local and export markets. Advisory services for the acquisition have been provided by Ernst & Young and the acquisition process is to be a smooth and hassle-free one.
