KSB Ltd has secured a major domestic order from Larsen & Toubro (L&T) for the supply of 15 sets of boiler feed pumps, including booster pumps, motors, and accessories, for NTPC’s supercritical power projects. The ₹267 crore contract covers equipment for the Gadarwara STPP Stage-II (2x800 MW) and Nabinagar STPP Stage-II (3x800 MW) plants, reinforcing KSB’s leadership in India’s thermal power infrastructure.
The order, announced on June 30, 2025, is a significant win for KSB’s energy division and is expected to be fulfilled over 20 to 28 months, with milestone-based payments. The company emphasized that the deal is a purely domestic transaction, with no related party involvement, and was finalized outside market hours.
This contract strengthens KSB’s foothold in the supercritical power segment, where efficiency and reliability are paramount. The pumps will play a critical role in maintaining high-pressure steam cycles, essential for power generation at these advanced thermal plants.
KSB’s shares responded positively to the news, reflecting investor confidence in the company’s robust order book and execution capabilities. The deal also aligns with India’s broader push for energy security and infrastructure modernization, especially in the conventional power sector.
With this win, KSB continues to ride the momentum of industrial capex revival, positioning itself as a key enabler in India’s power and process engineering landscape.
