	Larsen & Toubro (L&T), a leading Indian multinational engineering company, has joined forces with General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc. (GA-ASI), a world leader in drone technology, to manufacture advanced RPAS in India. The partnership aligns with the Government of India’s vision of fostering self-reliance in defence manufacturing and adopting cutting-edge unmanned aerial technologies domestically.
	
	GA-ASI, known globally for its MQ-9B SkyGuardian and SeaGuardian drones, brings decades of expertise in RPAS design and production. Through this collaboration, L&T will leverage its robust manufacturing infrastructure and engineering capabilities to build critical components and assemble RPAS locally, enabling faster delivery and enhanced customization for Indian armed forces.
	
	This venture is expected to boost India’s strategic and operational capabilities, supporting surveillance, reconnaissance, and other military applications while reducing dependency on foreign suppliers.
