Coca-Cola (Thailand) Ltd. announced the appointment of Reetima Rakyan as Vice President and General Manager, Indochina, which includes Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, and Cambodia. This move, effective immediately, places Rakyan in charge of Coca-Cola's business in one of its fastest-growing markets.
With a mandate to lead growth and innovation, Rakyan will work on enhancing Coca-Cola's position as a total beverage company by broadening its varied portfolio to cater to changing consumer tastes. She will lead the introduction of cutting-edge marketing initiatives, enhance consumer connections, and drive collaboration with long-standing bottling partners to deliver operational excellence throughout the region.
The appointment of Rakyan reflects Coca-Cola's dedication to sustainability, consumer focus, and market leadership. She has over 20 years of FMCG, banking, and retail experience and has served in senior roles since her induction into Coca-Cola in 2013. Her past leadership of Customer & Commercial Leadership function for the ASEAN and South Pacific Operating Unit involved leading commercial strategy, growing digital and physical reach, and launching initiatives to enhance affordability and category desire. Notably, she played a key role in creating the System Commercial Capability Academy, which has been a platform for future growth.
Rakyan's track record of success in people development, partner management, and channel marketing will drive Coca-Cola's ongoing success in Indochina. Her consumer-centric approach and focus on executional excellence will be at the heart of building on the company's leadership in innovation, sustainability, and system-wide collaboration.
