Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Princess Diya Kumari has welcomed with open arms Rajasthan's hosting of the IIFA Awards 2025 and said it was a "matter of pride" for the state. She observed that this festival would not only spur tourism but bring producers to Rajasthan and make a case for the state's ability to become a destination for movies.
Kumari also spoke about the government's dedication to making Rajasthan "event and concert-friendly," so that in the near future there are more international events like IIFA. It's a part of Rajasthan's drive to leverage its cultural and heritage base to build itself into an entertainment destination as well as hub for global-level cultural exchanges.
Organization of IIFA 2025 is likely to provide Rajasthan with more visibility on the world map and economic growth through film-making and tourism.
