Big News for Bollywood Fans
Bollywood's favourite pair, Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani, welcomed their first child—a daughter—on July 15, 2025, as they started a joyful new chapter in their lives and a congratulatory wave took over the industry and social media. The much-awaited arrival came a few weeks ahead of schedule because the actress was originally due in August. Both the mother and daughter are reportedly in good health after a complication-free, normal delivery at HN Reliance Hospital, Mumbai.
From On-Screen Chemistry to Real-Life Family
Sidharth and Kiara's fairy-tale love story goes back to their hit film "Shershaah", where their on-screen chemistry soon turned into one of Bollywood's most popular off-screen couples. They got married in a fairy-tale Rajasthan wedding in February 2023 after a few years of dating, keeping their personal milestones largely private but posting the odd heartwarming picture online.
Their pregnancy was announced officially in February 2025 with an adorable Instagram post of baby socks and the caption, "The greatest gift of our lives. Coming soon." The news immediately went viral, and fans waited with bated breath as Kiara stepped out in public, including her radiant first appearance at this year's Met Gala.
Reactions Pour In
The entertainment fraternity has erupted in celebration, with fans and other celebrities taking to social media to offer their warm congratulations to the new parents. The close family members of the two, including Sidharth's mother Rimma Malhotra and Kiara's parents, were also seen beside them at the hospital to welcome the newest Malhotra-Advani.
What's Next for the Couple Despite this personal milestone, the two actors have busy professional lives. Kiara is gearing up for the release of "War 2" alongside Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR in August, and Sidharth's next film "Param Sundari" opposite Janhvi Kapoor is highly awaited.
While fans wait with bated breath for the first look at their baby girl, the Malhotra-Advani family embarks on parenthood amidst blessings and goodwill from their fans.
