L&T Technology Services Ltd (LTTS) has been selected by TRATON Group, the Volkswagen-backed global commercial vehicle powerhouse, as a strategic engineering partner to accelerate its global R&D transformation. This collaboration marks a major milestone for LTTS, deepening its presence in the European automotive ecosystem and reinforcing its leadership in software-defined vehicle engineering.
Under this multi-year engagement, LTTS will support TRATON’s brands—including Scania, MAN, Navistar, and Volkswagen Truck & Bus—in developing next-gen mobility solutions. The partnership will focus on embedded software, digital engineering, and platform development, with LTTS setting up dedicated offshore delivery centers and deploying domain experts across TRATON’s global R&D hubs.
Key Highlights:
LTTS will help TRATON scale its software-defined vehicle (SDV) roadmap, including autonomous, connected, and electric vehicle platforms.
The engagement spans Europe, North America, and Latin America, aligning with TRATON’s global footprint.
LTTS’s proven track record in mobility engineering, with over 250 programs and 350 patents, was a key factor in the selection.
