An earthquake of magnitude 4.3 hit Afghanistan early May 31, 2025, the National Center for Seismology (NCS) reports. The earthquake had a depth of 110 km with its epicentre at latitude 35.69°N and longitude 71.21°E. There have been no reported casualties or destruction so far.
